That's a great question! I used a Wacom for years, so let me give you the pros and cons to each: What about the Wacom or other drawing tablet? When it comes to art, 'screen real estate' is so important. I work on the 12.9" size and love it because the screen is close the same size as a piece of paper. I always recommend purchasing the largest size you can afford. The Apple Pencil is unmatched in the industry for pressure sensitivity, feel and precision. Many people have asked - does it have to be this exact model and combo? Can I use the iPad air & stylus? It’s not that you can’t, but you should know that the magic is that the apple pencil only works with the newest versions of the iPad.
